Livingston to record a comfortable win over Dundee United

1545

On Saturday afternoon, Livingston host Dundee United at the Tony Macaroni Arena as the visitors seek a win to move off the bottom of the SPL table.

The home team are experiencing a decent campaign in the SPL, as they are currently in fourth place in the table. The Lions head into this game on the back of a run of just one defeat in their last six matches in the Scottish top flight.

David Martindale’s team is currently unbeaten in three games in the league, having recorded two wins and a draw. A 1-1 draw at Hearts ended Livingston’s short two-game winning run in the SPL.

Their recent league outings have been relatively high-scoring affairs, with over 2.5 goals scored in three of their last four SPL games.

Although Livingston’s recent home form has been relatively inconsistent, they have won five of their last seven league matches on home soil.

The Terrors endured a poor first half of the SPL season before the World Cup break and currently find themselves rock bottom of the table. However, United are just three points adrift of tenth place Ross County and 11th place Kilmarnock.

A record of just one win in their last six league games illustrates why they are in the position they are currently in. The fact that they have also lost four of their previous five matches in the SPL is also a big factor in their 12th-place position.

The visitors have a poor recent away record in the Scottish top-flight, having failed to win in their last eight league matches on their travels while also suffering six defeats in the poor run.

What does Forebet predict?

Forebet predicts that Livingston will record a comfortable victory over Dundee United in a high-scoring encounter to add to the visitor’s woes.
