Mohammed Salisu is back in training with Southampton following Ghana’s early exit at the 2022 World Cup.
The 23 year old centre-back was one of the standout players for the Black Stars despite failing to progress to the knockout round.
He became the first ever Ghanaian defender to score at the World Cup in their 3-2 win over South Koreat the Education City Stadium.
The Black Stars finished bottom of Group H with three points after defeats to Portugal and Uruguay in their other group games.
