Hearts of Oak defender Mohammed Alhassan is feeling optimistic ahead of the return of the 2022/23 betPawa Premier League season.
Ghana’s top-flight division is on a one-month break due to the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 finals currently ongoing in Qatar.
The league will resume on Monday, December 19 to Thursday 22, 2022 across League centres.
The Phobians occupy the 5th spot with 13 points after eight round of matches
“Personally, I feel refreshed after that break. I think that should go for all the players as well. It was a good rest for us all,” Mohammed Alhassan said.
“So far, it’s been excellent and we are positive that when the league starts, we will give a good account of ourselves”.
He added, “Everyone will want to play a part in the games but it all depends on what you do at the training grounds and what the coaches want to see. It’s team work so we work together as a team and succeed together as a team.”
“We are all working for the betterment of this team so whoever gets the opportunity to feature in any of the games knows very well that they have to give off their very best.
“For me, my focus is clear and that is to always give my best. I believe in my capabilities and I know the fans appreciate me as well.”
