Hearts of Oak have ended Accra Lions unbeaten start to the season after securing a 3-1 win at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Gladson Awako got the first goal in the 23rd minute from a wonderful strike to give the Phobians the lead.
Salifu Ibrahim got the second goal in the 47th minutes through a spot kick but Accra Lions reduced the deficit following a goal by Seidu Bassit in the 80th minute.
However, Benjamin York extinguished any hopes of a comeback with a goal in injury time to claim all three points for the Phobians.
Hearts of Oak are in sixth with 12 points whiles Accra Lions are second behind Aduana Fc with 15 points.
