Forward Antoine Semenyo has reacted after netting his first international for the Black Stars.
Ghana pipped Switzerland 2-0 in a pre-World Cup friendly on Thursday, November 17, 2022, at the ZSC Stadium in Abu Dhabi.
Goals from Mohammed Salisu and Antoine Semenyo gave Ghana the deserving win over their European opponents as they head to the 2022 World Cup in high spirits.
Speaking after the game, the Bristol City player was delightful after scoring his first goal for the national team.
“It feels so good, so so happy. We played so well… Everyone is firing and we are all ready (for the World Cup),” he said.
Ghana will open their campaign against Portugal on November 24 at Stadium 974 in Doha.
