Black Stars coach Otto Addo has applauded the Ghana Football Association President Kurt Okraku for giving him and his technical team the free hands to select players for the FIFA World Cup.
Coach Otto Addo announced his final 26 man squad on Monday for the tournament which gets underway on November, 20.
The squad is made up off two home-based players and twenty-four foreign based participants.

Speaking during the squad announcement, Otto Addo said the squad was not imposed on him by the President of the Ghana FA.
“Thank you to the GFA President for allowing me do my work,” he said.
“For me, that’s the most important thing. To be able to make decision myself, of course alongside the technical team.”
Ghana face Portugal in their World Cup opener on November 24. They are joined in Group H by South Korea and Uruguay.
