We are happy with Slavko Matic – Hearts of Oak board member Odotei Sowah

Hearts of Oak board member, Vincent Sowah Odotei says the leadership of the club have absolute confidence in the head coach of the side, Slavko Matic.

The Serbian has signed a two year deal with the club after a torrid start of the season.

Samuel Boadu was shown the exit after failing to win the first game of the season.

However, the Serbian trainer recorded back to back win before drawing with Karela United in the matchday four game against Karela United.

“So far we are happy with the way he is training the team, the professionalism he has brought to the team, the discipline, the vision, and the leadership and the decisiveness that he has brought to the team,” he told Citi Sports.

“So we believe with all these ingredients and support of management and the players, he should be able to take this team forward,” he added.

The draw leave Hearts of Oak at the 10th position with the 9 points.
