2022 World Cup: Host nation Qatar name final squad for tournament

Host nation, Qatar have named their final 26-man squad for the 2022 World Cup which kicks off in less than nine days.

Coach Felix Sanchez selected a roster exclusively made up of home-based players led by attacking trio Akram Afif, Almoez Ali and Hassan Al-Haydos.

Qatar, who will be making their first ever appearance at the global showpiece are in Group A alongside Ecuador, Senegal and the Netherlands
