ICYMI: Benzema equals Raul as Real Madrid’s second-highest goalscorer

By scoring his 323rd goal for Real Madrid in a 6-0 thumping of Levante on Thursday, Karim Benzema pulled level with Raul as the club’s second-highest goalscorer.

To reach the milestone, the France striker headed in Real’s second goal against Levante at the Santiago Bernabeu. With 451, Cristiano Ronaldo remains the all-time leading goal scorer for Real Madrid.

Benzema has 44 goals in 44 games this season, as Carlo Ancelotti’s team has won La Liga and advanced to the Champions League final, where they will face Liverpool on May 28 in Paris.

Madrid took the lead through Ferland Mendy before Benzema’s goal. Rodrygo scored another and Vinicius Junior scored a hat-trick in a thumping that sent Levante to relegation.
