The two-time Ghana goal king wants to call time on his career in the North African country, return home and work his way through to a career in Europe. While Bekoe insist that he has no problem with Petrojet as a club, he says their objection to a move for him to Europe has left him frustrated. Now he wants a move to Kumasi Asante Kotoko where he is confident he can get his career back on track again. “I am not begging Kotoko for a move but I would love to play for them again. The world over players return home when they want to for various reasons but in Ghana once you want to do that people read all sorts of meaning,” he told KickOffGhana.com. Bekoe has a year left on his Petrojet contract and is adamant he will have no problem honouring it if the club persist in their objection. “I have always said that Petrojet has been very good to me. They have treated me well in every sense. I f nothing happens I will play my heart out for them and play very well because in football you don’t know who is watching. “I can’t let my level drop with the thinking that I am punishing Petrojet. I would be punishing myself because afterwards, who will be interested in a player who doesn’t give off his best?” Bekoe was prolific in his time at Kotoko, running away with the top scoters honours twice in the Ghana league. He started his Egypt career too and finished his first season in double figure of goals but an injury that kept him out of almost a year slowed him down considerably.
Bekoe won’t revolt for Kotoko move
