The Ghanaian right back played 75 minutes of the second leg 2-1 win over Hamburg at Craven Cottage in only his second appearance since returning from a four month injury last Sunday and was replaced by the striker Eric Nevland as Fulham chased the game following Hamburg’s early advantage.
“To get the nod from the manager for such a huge game in our season was a really good vote of confidence but it was the result that matters most. It has been a really good season and hopefully we can end it with victory in the Europa League,” he told KickOffGhana.com.
