Tetteh told KickOffGhana.com it felt wonderful and amazing when his name was called out as the best coach on the continent for the year 2009.
“I was delighted. It was wonderful and amazing to be recognised after such a good year. Now I hope I can carry on and achieve even better things this year,” he said.
Tetteh got the biggest cheer of the night and will focus on achieving success with his new side Rwanda. The Under-20 World Cup winner has been handed the responsibility of taking the Amavubi to both the Nations Cup and the Championships of Africa Nations.
His debut as coach has been pegged back after Rwanda’s opponents Eritrea pulled out.
