The 2004 CAF Confederation Cup winners will be featuring in the competition next season
This follows their 2-1 triumph in the FA Cup final against Bechem United at the Baba Yara Stadium.
The Phobians were humiliated 4-2 on aggregate by Algerian side, JS Saoura in last season’s preliminary round.
Speaking on Akoma FM in an interview , Mr Odotei Sowah is positive his club will make Ghana proud in Africa.
“We will make Ghana proud going to Africa. We just won the cup, we are going back to soak the victory and visit the drawing board”
“Remember last year we went to Africa and got humiliated, so we’ve learnt our lessons and hope that this time we will build a team that will be good enough to compete and make Ghana proud.”
Hearts of Oak will begin its campaign on the weekend of September.
