Ivan Toney is due to appear at Southwark Crown Court in England on Thursday as proceedings continue over an alleged assault at a London nightclub.

The hearing is scheduled to take place about 33 hours before Al-Ahli face Al-Shabab in the 12th round of the Saudi Roshn League on 30 October 2026.
The match is due to be played at the SHG Arena in Riyadh, with the legal proceedings adding a significant commitment to Toney’s schedule before the league fixture.
Toney previously appeared at Westminster Magistrates’ Court, where he pleaded not guilty to the charge.
The case was then sent to the Crown Court after Toney chose to have it heard before a judge and jury, although it could have remained with the magistrates’ court. Judge Briony Clarke outlined that decision during the proceedings.
The Times reported at the beginning of October that the hearing had been set for Thursday at 12:30pm.
Toney was released on unconditional bail and is required to attend court at the scheduled time as the legal process continues.
Al-Ahli are preparing to meet Al-Shabab in their next Saudi Roshn League match, with Toney’s court appearance taking place shortly before the fixture.
