Bediako is not new to Spanish youth football, having previously represented Trival Valderas Alcorcon’s Under-19 side. His move to Atletico gives him the chance to continue his development within the academy of one of Spain’s leading clubs.
He made his senior Ghana Premier League debut for Berekum Chelsea in October 2024, when he was 16. Across the 2024/25 and 2025/26 seasons, he made 30 league appearances for the club.
The midfielder is expected to join his new team-mates immediately, with Atletico de Madrid Under-19s preparing for Tuesday’s UEFA Youth League fixture against Stuttgart.
