2026 World Cup qualifiers: Black Stars set for first training session on Monday

The Black Stars are gearing up for their 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Chad and Mali, with their first training session scheduled for today, September 1, 2025, at the Accra Sports Stadium.

This session, open to both media and the public, marks the beginning of their preparations for the crucial matches.

The team will train intensively on September 1 and 2 before departing for N’Djamena to face Chad on September 4.

After the match, they’ll return to Accra for a recovery session on September 5, which will also be open to the media and public.

The Black Stars will then host Mali at the Accra Sports Stadium on September 8. Currently topping Group I with 15 points from six matches, having won five and lost one, Ghana aims to maintain its position and edge closer to World Cup qualification.
