Black Stars coach Otto Addo expressed optimism about integrating local talents into the national team after assessing the 2025 Nsenkyire Cup.
He praised the skills displayed by players in the tournament, noting that some talented individuals could potentially join the Black Stars if they continue performing well.
“I saw some talented players, and I hope that if they continue like that, one or two can make it to the national team,” he told 3Sports.
Otto is ccommitted to giving home-based players opportunities, with call-ups handed to players like Benjamin Asare, Kamaradini Mahamudu, and Kwame Opoku recently.
Ghana take on Chad on September 4 before facing Mali on September 8 in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
