Black Stars trainer Otto Addo has labelled their 2025 African Cup Of Nations qualifier opponent Angola as a tough opponents.

Ghana will face their Angolan side on Thursday, September 5, 2024, at the Baba Yara Stadium which will be followed by a trip away to face Niger.

The match marks the beginning of the qualifying series for a spot at next year’s AFCON in Morocco.

“It would be a mistake to look too far ahead. Right now, my focus is entirely on Angola, as they are a tough opponent. That’s where my attention is,” Otto said.

Addo has already announced his 23 man squad for the upcoming fixtures and the players are expected to open camp on September 2.
