Ghana departed for Libya ahead of their return leg encounter against Sudan in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers.

The team left Kotoka International Airport on Sunday morning and are expected to arrive in Benghazi by the afternoon.

The squad consist of 39 members – including 25 players, along with the technical team and management committee members.

Preparations for the crucial match will begin on Monday afternoon.

The Black Stars will face Sudan in their fourth match in Libya, after unrest in Sudan led CAF to approve the Martyrs of February Stadium for the game on Tuesday.

Angola tops Group F with a perfect nine points from three games.

Sudan sit second with four points, followed by Ghana with two, while Niger remains at the bottom with just one point after three games.
