Ghana’s female sides, the Black Queens, are set to touchdown in Ghana on Monday, July 28, 2025 after claiming bronze at the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.
The Black Queens defeated defending champions South Africa 3-2 on penalties to annex bronze
The victory marked Ghana’s first medal on the continental level since 2016, where they secured a bronze placed finish as well.
The Black Queens are expected to be greeted by scores of fans before they proceed to present their medal to the president of Ghana.
