The Black Galaxies of Ghana will host arch rivals Nigeria at the Baba Yara stadium in the final round of the Championship of African Nations (CHAN) qualifiers.
Black Galaxies defeated Benin 1-0 in the 2nd leg of the preliminary round qualifiers last Saturday.
By the virtue of the victory, coach Annor Walker’s side qualified to the final round on a 4-0 aggregate following a 3-0 win in the 1st leg at the Cape Coast stadium.
Ghana will need to beat Nigeria to secure a ticket to the 2023 CHAN tournament to be held in Algeria.
The Black Galaxies have yet to appear in the tournament since 2014 when Ghana finished 2nd in South Africa.
