As the host country, Ghana’s impressive medal haul, including 19 gold, 29 silver, and 20 bronze medals, propelled them to sixth place on the overall medal table.
The 2023 African Games highlighted Ghana’s sporting prowess and legacy, with victories in events like the 200 Metres Men’s Final, Women’s Hockey, Men’s High Jump, Men’s Football, and four gold medals in Boxing on the penultimate day of competition.
