The head coach of the Algeria national team, Djamel Belmadi has named his final squad for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament.
The highly-rated tactician early this month submitted a 55-man provisional squad to CAF.
Out of that squad, he has selected his best 27 for the 2023 AFCON to be held in Ivory Coast.
The final squad is made up of several key players from the last edition of the AFCON as some new additions are also drafted to make the squad strong for the upcoming assignment.
