Columbus Crew duo Jonathan Mensah and Yaw Yeboah are expected to join the Black Stars squad on Monday ahead of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying matches.
Coach Otto Addo named Mensah and Yeboah to his 33-man squad for games against Madagascar and the Central African Republic, as well as a four-nation tournament in Japan.
They haven’t yet reported to camp, though. Mensah and Yeboah were in action in MLS on Saturday, as Columbus Crew defeated Atlanta United 2-1. Crew’s first goal was scored by Mensah.

Twenty-eight players out of the 33 players called up took part in Sunday’s training session at the Cape Coast Stadium.
Defenders Daniel Amartey and Dennis Odoi, as well as Daniel Kofi Kyereh, were the latest to link up with the squad to prepare for the game
The team held a gym session on Sunday morning before being taken through their paces on the pitch in the evening.
Ghana host Madagascar on Wednesday, June 1 in the first game with kick-off scheduled at 19:00GMT before traveling to face Central African Republic.
After the two games, Black Stars will take on Japan, Chile and Tunisia in the four-nation tournament.
