The wife of Ghana’s captain, Andre Ayew, declares her support for the Black Stars as they embark on the 2023 Nations Cup journey hosted in her home country, Ivory Coast.

Despite the dual allegiance, she emphasizes her backing for Andre Ayew and the Ghanaian team, but maintained she will also be happy even if Ivory Coast succeeds.

“This year, I support Andre. He’s in the Ghanaian team. But, if Ivory Coast wins, I’ll also be very, very, very happy,” she told Canal Plus

Ayew, making his eighth AFCON appearance, aims for a triumphant exit, eyeing records for scoring in seven tournaments and highest AFCON appearances.

Ghana is in Group B with Egypt, Cape Verde, and Mozambique.
