Chelsea were aiming to return to winning ways following a humiliating defeat to Nations FC in their previous fixture but Bechem United proved to be a strong opponent.
The Hunters broke the deadlock through Emmanuel Annor in the 23rd minutes mark and went to the halftime break with the advantage.
Bechem United were cruising to victory until David Asabere received the marching orders in the 80th minute, which changed the dynamics of the crucial game.
The home team took the advantage and subsequently leveled pegging few minutes to full time. Stephen Amankona fired home the equalizer in the 85th minute mark.
With 34 points, Berekum Chelsea find themselves in 4th position on the Ghana Premier League standings whiles Bechem United sit 5th spot with 33 points.
