2022 World Cup: We don’t fear any opponent – Ghana goalkeeper Joe Wollacott

Ghana shot-stopper Joseph Luke Wollacott has disclosed that the Black Stars are ready to battle any team at the 2022 FIFA World Cup and hold no fear.

Black Stars make a return to the tournament after missing out on the 2018 edition in Russia and have been drawn in Group H alongside Portugal, South Korea and Uruguay.

Ghana will take on Portugal in their first game on November 24 before playing South Korea and Uruguay on November 28 and December 2 respectively.

“We are Ghana/Ghanaians we don’t fear who our opponents are or who we face or who we come across in a game of football. It’s a shame that some of the media has to go to this length to try and tarnish my image in Ghana,” the Charlton Athletic goalkeeper wrote on his Twitter handle.

Black Stars will play Switzerland in an International friendly on November 17, before travelling to Qatar for the World Cup.
