Ghana midfielder Thomas Partey has finally spoken following the country’s elimination from the 2022 World Cup.
The Black Stars exited the competition after a 2-0 defeat to Uruguay in their final Group game at the Al-Janoub Stadium on Friday.
The West African country finished bottom of Group H with three points.
“It was our biggest wish to give Ghanaians something to cheer about but unfortunately it didn’t go as we wanted,” the Arsenal star wrote on Facebook.
“I want to say a huge thank you for the unconditional support from home and across the world. With the support of God we will come back stronger,” he added.
