Top Ghanaian musician Livingstone Etse Satekla, better known by his stage name Stonebwoy, has taken a swipe at the GFA following the announcement of what he terms “PayToPlay” Black Stars squad for the 2022 World Cup.
Head coach Otto Addo finally unveiled his 26-man roster for the tournament in a press-conference on Monday.
The squad reveal has sparked arguments on social media following the exclusion of Crystal Palace ace Jeffrey Schlupp, Genk forward Joseph Paintsil, and Former AS Roma sensation Felix Afena-Gyan.
In-form Anderlecht midfielder Majeed Ashimeru was also left out after failing to win over the technical team.
The multiple award winning musician, Stonebwoy who added his voice to the ongoing dialogue suggested foul play and pointed accusatory fingers at the leadership of the country’s football governing body.
