2022 World Cup: Speaker assures Black Stars of Parliament’s support

The Speaker of Parliament, Alban S. K Bagbin has assured the Black Stars of Parliament’s support ahead of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

Mr Bagbin made the pledge during a parliamentary sitting on Tuesday, October 26.

Ghana will be making a return to the global showpiece after missing the 2018 edition in Russia.

This will be the country’s fourth ever appearance. The four-time African Champions have been drawn in Group H alongside Portugal, South Korea and Uruguay.

The World Cup is set to take place between November 21 and December 18, 2022
