Son Heung-min, the first Asian player to become the top scorer in the English Premier League (EPL), declared that his third World Cup would be the best time of his life.
Son Heung-min attended the ‘Son Coming Day’ event at the Adidas Hongdae Brand Center and said, “When I came back this year, I was most happy when I went to the World Cup and finished the season in the direction my team wanted,”
“It was good to lead a team that advanced to the World Cup 10 times in a row. In the EPL, I achieved the goal scorer I dreamed of since I was young. I think those two moments were the happiest this year,” he added.
“I was late joining the Century Club due to Corona 19, but I didn’t think I would play 100 games for the national team. I learned a lot while sharing a room with (Park) Jisung,”
Same group with Portugal at the World Cup. Do you have any anticipation for the match against Cristiano Ronaldo?
