Football Administrator, Wilfred Osei Kweku Palmer has attributed the exclusion of Joseph Paintsil from Black Stars 26-man squad to his sour relationship with the current Ghana Football Association.
Paintsil was left out of the final list for the FIFA World Cup in Qatar slated to begin on November, 20, having been named in the initial 55-man preliminary squad.
Ghana coach Otto Addo is believed to have phoned the 24-year-old on Tuesday to inform him of the decision to exclude him from the team flying to the Arab country.
Paintil has scored six goals and provided five assists in 13 appearances for Genk in the Belgian top-flight.
“Paintsil is suffering because of the sour relationship I have with the GFA,” Palmer told E Ghana Sports.
“If not because of my issues with the GFA, Paintsil would have been enjoying his time with the National Team.” He added
The final squad is expected to be released in the course of week.
Ghana will face Portugal, South Korea Republic and Uruguay in group H matches.
