2022 World Cup: ‘Let’s get behind the team’ – GFA Boss Kurt Okraku after Black Stars squad announcement

Ghana Football Association President Kurt Edwin Simon Okraku has called on Ghanaians to support the Black Stars at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar amid difference in opinion about call-up.

He made the statement on the back of the senior national team’s 26-man squad announcement at MultiChoice in Accra.

Ghana coach Otto Addo has named his team for the World Cup which includes two home-based players – Ibrahim Danlad and Daniel Afriyie Barnieh.

“Let get ourselves behind our Black Stars, it is the only national team that we have, whether Kurt made it to the final squad or not, we have to support our Black Stars at the Mundial.” Kurt said.

Ghana will lock horns with Portugal, South Korea Republic and Uruguay respectively.
