Genk winger Joseph Paintsil has been named in Ghana’s provisional 55-man squad for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
The 24 year old has been in blistering form for the Blue and Whites in their charge to the top of the Belgian Jupiler League.
He makes a return to the Black Stars set-up after missing out on the September friendlies against Brazil and Nicaragua.
Paintsil has recorded six goals and provided four assists in the ongoing campaign.
He will be hoping make the final twenty-six man list which will be announced on November 10, 2022.
