Black Stars head coach Otto Addo has finally announced his 26-man squad for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
With just six days away from the start of the tournament, Ghana’s squad was unveiled in a press conference at the Multichoice office in Accra on Monday.
The manager named two home-based players; Asante Kotoko goalkeeper Danlad Ibrahim and Hearts of Oak striker Daniel Afriyie Barnieh in his roster.
First and second choice goalkeepers Joojo Wollacot and Richard Ofori missed out due to injuries while Mallorca midfielder Iddrisu Baba was also not selected after failing to recover from a muscular problem.
The team will play Switzerland in their final warm-up game before the start of their campaign in Qatar on November 24.
Ghana are pitted in Group H alongside Portugal, Uruguay and South Korea.
