2022 World Cup: GFA to hold Church Service for Black Stars on November 6

A church service will be held for the Black Stars on Sunday, November 6, 2022 at the Most Holy Trinity Cathedral Church in Accra.

Rt. Rev. Dr.Daniel S.M Torto, Anglican Bishop of Accra Diocese will lead and officiate this non denominational church service.

The event forms as part of activities put in place by Ghana Football Association ahead of the country’s participation at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

Ghana qualified for the global showpiece after defeating West African rivals Nigeria in the playoffs earlier this year.

The Black Stars will making their fourth appearance in Qatar after missing the 2018 edition in Russia.

Ghana are pitted in Group H alongside Portugal, Uruguay and South Korea.

The World Cup is set to take place between November 21 and December 18, 2022
