2022 World Cup: Former Black Meteors captain Yaw Yeboah left out of Black Stars’ final squad for tournament

US-based Ghanaian attacker, Yaw Yeboah has been excluded from the Black Stars’ final squad for the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

The Columbus Crew winger was named in the 55-man squad provisional squad submitted to FIFA by Ghana head coach Otto Addo.

Unfortunately, his name has been omitted from the final 26-man squad settled on by the Black Stars’ head coach.

Coach Otto Addo and his assistants believe other players are ahead of the former Black Meteors captain.

Yaw Yeboah, 25, must now wait for a chance to play for Ghana in other international tournaments.

Ghana at the 2022 FIFA World Cup has been drawn in Group H to face Portugal, Uruguay, and South Korea.

The Black Stars will kick off their campaign at the tournament scheduled to be stage in Qatar in a match against Portugal on November 24.

This year’s mundial will start in Qatar on November 20.
