Celta Vigo have congratulated Joseph Aidoo for his inclusion in the Black Stars squad ahead of the World Cup in Qatar.
Aidoo was named in Ghana’s final 26-man squad for the tournament which begins in Qatar in six days’ time
The Ghanaian defender has played a pivotal role in Celta Vigo, having featured 14 times and scored one goal in La Liga this season.
The club took to their social media page to react to the players’ call-up.
Ghana will open camp in Abu Dhabi on Monday, November 14 before taking on Switzerland on November 17 in a pre-World Cup friendly.
The team is expected to fly Doha on November 19 before their opening game against European powerhouse, Portugal.
Ghana will open their campaign against Portugal on November 24 at Stadium 974 in Doha.
