President of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has congratulated the Black Stars following their 3-2 win over South Korea in the 2022 World Cup on Monday.
Mohammed Kudus bagged a brace after Mohammed Salisu had opened the scoring as Otto Addo’s side edged the Asian country in a five-goal thriller at the Educational City Stadium.
The win keeps the Black Stars’ hopes of qualification alive, lifting them into second in the group behind Portugal who face Uruguay on Monday night.
Ghana will try to book their place in the next round when they go head-to-head with Uruguay on Friday, while South Korea must bounce back when they take on Portugal.
