All games will be played at Cape Coast Sports Stadium located in the Central region of Ghana from June 11 to 24.

The Wafu-B Championship will serve as qualifiers for the 2023 U-17 Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon) which has been expanded to twelve teams instead of eight.

The top two teams at the Cape Coast edition go on to represent Wafu-B at the U-17 Afcon to be hosted by Algeria.
