The Ministry in charge of Youth, Sports and Culture has agreed to pay an amount of $75,000 to each player and technical team member of the Black Stars as an appearance fee for the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
The decision according to reports gathered has been taken following a meeting between the Ghana Football Association (GFA) and the Sports Ministry.
According to Silver FM, the team will also receive $15,000 as a winning bonus at the group stage of the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
The amount will reportedly increase if the Black Stars progress to the knockout stage of the mundial.
Below is a breakdown of the appearance fee, bonuses, and salary of Black Stars technical team members as reported by Silva FM.
1.Ottoo Addo per month $25,000
2.Chris Houghton $20,000 per month
3 George Boateng $10,000 per month
4.Didi Dramani $10,000 per month
Appearance fee: $75,000 each including the players.
Winning bonus: $15,000.
