2021/22 Ghana Premier League: Week 31 Match Report-WAFA 1-1 Bechem United –

WAFA fought back to draw 1-1 with Bechem United at home in Ghana Premier League on Sunday, 29 May, in Sogakope.

But the Academy Boys did very little to boost their chances of escaping demotion and for now it’s not looking good.

It was the visitors who jumped into the lead on 16 minutes through Foster Appiah when WAFA were napping at the back.

Seven minutes later, WAFA responded through a well-worked out goal.

Striker Godwin Segla picked out youngster Michael Zuo who struck past the visiting goalkeeper.

In the second-half, there wasn’t much effort from either side to collect the points.

WAFA remain second-bottom on the table and are very much up for eviction.
