Bechem United secured a narrow 1-1 draw against Berekum Chelsea on Sunday afternoon to finish third at the end of the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League season.
The impressive top four finish is a reward of the work done by head coach Kasim Mingle and his hardworking squad of players.
Since the start of the season late last year the team impressed and fought in every game to pick points. It was as a result no surprise when the team at a point in time was a favourite to win the Ghana Premier League title.
Today, Bechem United hosted Berekum Chelsea for the final matchday 34 fixture of the league season.
Thanks to a strike from youngster Clinton Duodu, the Hunters had a deserved lead at the end of the first half.
With Berekum Chelsea coming in strong in the second half, the team managed to equalize to force the match to end in a draw.
Both teams have escaped relegation and will play in the Ghana Premier League next season.
