Relegation-bound Elmina Sharks displayed impressive fighting spirit on Wednesday afternoon as the team held Aduana Stars to a goalless draw in the Ghana Premier League.
The team based in the Central Region has remained bottom of the Ghana Premier League standings for most parts of the game.
Although the performance of the team has improved since coach Kobbina Amissah was handed the team to coach, the team has still not managed to climb out of the red zone.
With the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League season heading for its conclusive end, Elmina Sharks are closer and closer to being relegated.
Today, the team visited Dormaa determined to pick points off Aduana Stars. After giving it their all, the players of Sharks succeeded and held the matchday 29 opponent to a goalless draw.
Despite picking the point today, Elmina Sharks remain bottom of the Ghana Premier League standings.
