Ghana FA took the right decision in appointing Avram Grant as the Black Stars coach, says Andre Ayew who thinks the former Chelsea manager will steer the country to success.
The Israeli will take charge of the side for the first time next month when the Black Stars start their pre-training camp for the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations
Ghana appointed the Israeli as their coach earlier this month to replace Kwesi Appiah and Ayew has given the Israeli the thumbs-up.
“We know our coach is a great coach who has led big teams,” the Marseille player said.
“He has experience. He will quickly adapt to life in African football and what is different about it to European football.
“I really think the association has made a good choice.”
