The Ghana midfielder is one of several players that Schalke are looking to ship out after a difficult season last term but it is highly unlikely Annan will be willing to walk just yet. Annan joined them from Norway in the January transfer window and while he enjoyed regular football early on under, all that changed with the arrival of Ralf Ragnick and a toe injury. The fact that he was cup tied as Schalke reached the semi finals if he champions league did not also help. But Annan insists he can still get right. “I played when the new coach came but the injury set me back a bit,” he told kickoffGhana.com. “Now I have fitted in well and I will return to pre-season fully fit so I am convinced I can have a much better season.”
