Real Madrid won their 14th UEFA Champions League crown on Saturday night after beating Liverpool 1-0 in a tense final played in Paris, France.

Vinicius Jr was the hero of the contest, scoring the lone goal in the second half. 

Besides the goals, assists, and points, individual awards are given after every match. 

The UEFA technical observers at each game decide who deserves to be the Player of the Match, with an official trophy handed to the successful candidate after full time. 

Thibaut Courtois deservedly won the final Man of the Match award after a starring performance from start to finish.
