French Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain have announced the signing of Nuno Mendes on a permanent deal from Sporting CP.
Mendes joined PSG on loan from Sporting CP last summer and impressed in the French capital. And now PSG has triggered their €40m option to sign Nuno Mendes on a permanent deal.
“Paris Saint-Germain has completed the permanent transfer of Nuno Mendes. The Portugal left-back is now tied to the club from the French capital until 30 June 2026,” a statement from the club read.
Mendes made 27 Ligue 1 appearances, including 18 starts, as PSG reclaimed the title. He also started seven times in the Champions League before the Parisien outfit were knocked out in the round of 16.
