Three Ghana Premier League coaches have been recognised for their standout work in December after earning nominations for the NASCO Coach of the Month Award.
Asante Kotoko head coach Abdul Karim Zito makes the shortlist following an impressive run that saw his side record three victories despite suffering one defeat.
Kotoko were the most potent attacking team among the nominees, netting nine goals while allowing just one over the period.
Medeama SC’s Ibrahim Tanko also earned a place on the list after guiding his side through the month without defeat.
The Yellow and Mauve registered two wins and two draws, scoring four times and conceding twice to remain top of the league standings.
Basake Holy Stars FC coach Johnson Smith completes the trio after an encouraging start to life at the club.
Smith oversaw an unbeaten December, picking up two wins and two draws while his team scored five goals and let in only one.
The eventual winner of the award will be presented with a 43-inch NASCO television, sponsored by Electroland Ghana Limited.
