You will always be one of us- FC Zurich mourn Raphael Dwamena

FC Zurich have taken to their social media page to mourn the passing of their former player Raphael Dwamena.

The Ghanaian international tragically died in Albania at the age of 28 on Saturday.

He lost his consciousness on the pitch during a game this afternoon for KF Egnatia and was immediately rushed to the hospital, where he unfortunately passed away.

“🕯️ FC Zurich mourns Raphael Dwamena.

Rest in Peace Raphael Dwamena. You will always be one of us!

#fcz” the club shared in a post on X.

Dwamena played for the Swiss giants during a successful one-year spell from 2017-2018, scoring 21 goals in 51 appearances.
